The Difference of Kuzey Marmara OSGB in Other Health Personnel

The legal responsibilities of health personnel (workplace nurses) are limited. Therefore, as Kuzey Marmara OSGB, we provide continuous specialized training to our health personnel to support the workplace physician in the field of occupational health.

In our workplaces where health personnel and workplace physicians work together, our health personnel track the entrance and renewal examinations using the OSH Portal software. If necessary, they organize these examinations and inform both the workplace physician and the employees who will be examined.

While an ordinary health personnel performs assigned tasks (such as blood pressure control), Kuzey Marmara OSGB health personnel are extremely proficient in occupational health, conducting field inspections and reporting the results.

What Does Health Personnel Do?

The duties of workplace nurses can generally be summarized as assisting the doctor. Specifically, they perform the following tasks:

• Work according to the workplace physician's instructions in the planning, evaluation, and monitoring of occupational health and safety services
• Collect data on occupational health and maintain necessary records
• Assist the workplace physician in entrance and periodic examinations
• Continuously monitor workplace hygiene
• Participate in the organization of first aid services
• Be involved in occupational health training

Who Can Be Health Personnel?

Individuals with the following titles can work as other health personnel after receiving training and passing the Other Health Personnel exam conducted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security:

• Nurse / Health Officer
• Ambulance and Emergency Care Technicians
• Emergency Medical Technician
• Environmental Health Technician
